One Thimble and Modes4U Fat Quarter Challenge

Last month I was doing a little reading on the One Thimble (affiliate link) blog and saw that they were doing a fun Fat Quarter challenge. You basically had to sew up something using less than a fat quarter of fabric and submit it to One Thimble. A panel of judges will choose winners in 3 categories as well as an overall winner, and the prizes are really cool!  I love One Thimble and thought it would be fun to enter, so I sewed up what I’m calling my Sweet Grace Ruffled Headband, took some pretty pics, and submitted them.
One Thimble Modes4U Fat Quarter Challenge- Sweet Grace Ruffled HeadbandThis headband is literally made of scraps from my stash and it sewed up so amazing with my leftover fabrics from Art Gallery Fabrics. I used prints from Bonnie Christine’s Reminisce and Sweet as Honey and they are DIVINE together!

They are also doing a People’s Choice Award, and that’s where you come in! If you have the time and would kindly hop over to the One Thimble blog, and give a vote for #5, which is my entry? If you love it, of course! You don’t have to sign up for anything or even enter your email. Voting ends on October 16th in Australia, so keep that in mind, too! Thanks so very much for your support and for reading my blog!

This is gorgeous! I wish I could get my daughter to wear headbands for more than a minute. I’d surely make tons of these!
