One Fabric Nation- Boho Babe by Nel Whatmore

I’m back again, with more Free Spirit gorgeousness and One Fabric Nation. Today I’m sharing the latest from designer Nel Whatmore: Boho Babe. I’ve been just dying for some warmer weather to sew these prints up, because they make me want to book the next flight to somewhere tropical!

Those palm trees? The abundance of flowers? And let’s not forget the colors. My photos really do not do them justice. They are vivid and bright and breathtaking!

I really could not pick one favorite print, but this Boho Border print is reminiscent of another line I loved from Nel called Secret Garden. These florals always stuck with me and I was happy to see more of them.

I have several projects planned for this line, and I’ll have more of those to show you in the next few weeks, but my first choice was the new Mila dress from Violette Field Threads. I had the privilege of sewing this sweet and sassy summer number for a Pattern Revolution round up. I’ll give you a peek here, but you’ll have to head over to their blog to see more!

The stripwork skirt in the dress meant that I didn’t have to pick just one fabric!  I love that you can mix and match between colorways in this line, too. It was fun to play with the colors and textures and be able to hit the bullseye with every layout.

Head over to the Pattern Revolution blog to see more images, and then check back soon (or subscribe!) to make sure you don’t miss the next bit of summery goodness from Boho Babe!

This post is part of the One Fabric Nation blogger program from Free Spirit Fabrics. The fabrics featured were provided to me by Free Spirit. The projects were chosen by me and the thoughts included in this post are my own.
